Corinne Colombo, visual artist

Born in Richmond, Virginia, USA, Corinne Colombo lived most of her life in Switzerland before emigrating to Queensland, Australia, for thirteen years. Before her departure, her paintings already reflected her attraction for the green of the palms, the turquoise and the azure of the sea, the rays of intense suns that play with shadows.

Back in Lausanne, in 2016, she preserves and transposes the impressions of the continents on which she lives and lived on her paintings of today, painted on various supports that go from metal to canvas, from sheet metal to wood. Urban architecture, movements, raw lights and windows on the world, she paints what captivates her.

Corinne Colombo regularly exhibits and gives private and group classes in her two workshops. Generous and charismatic, she juggles concepts and ideas. She enjoys teaching and interacting with her students.
